I clocked the 7700k to 4,9 GHZ with 2,28V. Runs under 75 degrees with a article freezer 240mm water cooler.

@benbumben Very impressive!

For everyone else out there, I updated the main post to reflect updating to 10.12.5 and the (missing! sorry!) critical step of running AGDPfix in order to not get "black screen on boot"

Just as an aside, I ran the combo update, rebooted, ran the latest nvidia installer PLUS the AGDPfix before restarting one last time. Smooth as silk

I made a update to 10.12.5 today and changed the 10.12.4 kext to a 10.12.5 kext I made on my macbook for the m.2 drive. cannot boot anymore. I'm stuck in a boot loop. not even -x -v works.
Anyone having the same problem with m.2 drives and 10.12.5?

Hi guys
Great posts.

mine is the same board with i5 6600 and with internal graphic 530, everything works great without the above tutorial except sleep.
I wonder if there a fix.
see attached my EFI
any help is much appreciated.

I think the issue is you copied my "darkwake=8" which is what I need for sleep to work because of my Nvidia graphics. Since you are using integrated graphics, this might not apply to you. Have you tried no darkwake at all (either removing it completely or doing darkwake=0)? Also of consideration, try go through each one.. ie. darkwake=1 - if that doesn't work: darkwake=2 and so on..

Sorry missed your other question. Haven't tried yet. It's my primary machine, so I value stability over new features. Once it hits version 10.13.1 (or maybe 10.13.2) I'll give it a go and definitely report back. I'm also using High Sierra as an excuse to buy an m.2 finally and hopefully install directly on it
