I have installed OS X Yosemite on my HP probook 4540s. Everything is working fine except at the apple boot screen, the logo is a little stretched at first, but after some time, it goes back to normal and boots. It is a minor problem, and I have already tried setting bios to UEFI without CSM, and editing screen resolution and theme in config.plist.

On my 6460B I had exactly the same 'problem' during the installation of Yosemite, but it hasn't happened since the OS had been installed. Now it loads normally.

i tested csm uefi with 1024x768, native uefi with this low resolution but its not better.

I did that, and the distortion is gone, but I still get a stretched apple logo.

The issue is 4x3 screen resolution on a 16x9 display...
