Hi folks,
I have a Sandisk Extreme 240GB SSD in my system that currently displays 46GB of space used. I have a weekly automated backup by Carbon Copy Cloner of the SSD to a partition on my media drive that only shows 25GB. I'm almost positive that CCC is accurate here, as I only use the SSD for programs and there is no way that I've loaded almost 50GB onto that drive. 25 seems much more truthful.
When I Get-Info on my home folder I show 10GB, when I Get-Info on the individual folders within Home I have 3.5GB in my Applications and absolutely 0 in my other folders... so there's 6.5GB of phantom space in my home folder!
I have TRIM enabled, and everything else has been working great since I switched to MacPro 3,1.
Any ideas?
Thank you!!
