spinning beach ball of death after wake from sleep since 10.8.3

Hello, I should have saved my image on 10.8.2 before an update but I didn't.....

after 10.8.3, it boots and works fine. However when I put it sleep, and wake after the computer wakes up, monitor comes back, mouse works but that is about it.

I only see mouse working but nothing else and I will see beach ball spinning so I have to reboot.

Is there a fix for this?
