Hello

First post here, and I've searched quite a few of the relevant ones I could find and tried various boot flags to no avail. The frustrating thing is that I followed the recommended hardware buying guide to the letter for the CustoMac mATX setup. Anyways...

Gigabyte GA-Z97MX-GAMING 5

Core i5-4690K

EVGA GT 740 SC

Crucial Ballistix Tactical (16GB)

Samsung 850 EVO 120GB

Seagate Barracuda 1TB

I created my Unibeast USB stick following the guide to the letter.
I modified the BIOS settings per Spballer's Build to the letter
-Load optimized defaults
-disable Vt-d
-enable memory profile 1
-Set the Initial Display Output to IGFX

Using a VGA display cable to the built in video and not the card
Card is still plugged in
Two memory sticks plugged in

Used the boot args: -v -x nv_disable=1

It hangs at the IOBluetooth thing everytime.

Argh.

Please read the Rules :

The IOBluetooth thing is a red herring - The problem is graphics.

There is no support for VGA in OS X - Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI.

Ok. So, I shouldn't use the VGA cable even if the display is working during the install process? Not sure what difference that makes. I'll try it
