Updates shouldn't effect the L/E folder it happens in S/L/Extensions folder if it gets replaced. Clover EFI folder is good too it makes it easier to see the fixes and it makes it portable if you create a new install just use the same folder copied.

thanks for the info I wasn't sure, there SO MUCH to read on tonymacx that we forget after a while...

I wasn't able to fix the intel 630 so I'll order and install a Nvidia Gforce card...it will be better anyway.
