[SOLVED] Help!!! No Audio after upgrading to 10.6.3

No sound! However I'm not sure I'm using DSDT.aml correctly. I followed the directions in the youtube video posted and after clicking UserDSDT it shows next to click the DSDT.aml on the desktop and then select the other options. In my case when I click DSDT.aml I get this message "There is no default application specified to open the document "DSDT.aml".

It's not clicking it, but pointing that DSDT.aml should be on your desktop...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is there anyway I could just use EasyBeast Supported CPU instead?

Don't worry. With the method above, you'll be OK...

P.S. Took a look at your rig, that is one hellava CPU Cooler. Other than that, I plan on purchasing a EVGA 9800GT so our systems should be identical.

It keeps my CPU as 4~6C over ambient...
Torturing it with Prime95, I tops at around 57~59C...

Other than being a noob I wonder why I'm having so many problems with the sound after upgrading to 10.6.3?

Could be residual kexts from previous attempts...
I installed some 40 times my rig until I got it the way I wanted...
Many of these times, a full clean install...

Man, after over 20yrs of Windows experience this is taking me through a loop. But, I refuse to let it beat me down.

You are trying to do this in the awkward way of windows twisted minds...
Just forget about windows and do it intuitively...
