With the latest Chameleon and "GraphicsEnabler=yes", you will have dual monitor support through the dual link (upper) DVI and DisplayPort connectors.Deverall said:I just setup my Hackintosh and I cannot get the second monitor to work. I have a Gigabyte GA-Z68MX-UD2H-B3 with a Sapphire Radeon 6850 card. Can anyone talk me through what I need to do to get the second monitor up and running?
If you need HDMI, I'm not sure you can get dual monitor to work. You'd specify "GraphicsEnabler=yes" and "AtiConfig=Lotus". But then I think the HDMI port is the only one that will work – at least DisplayPort and the dual link DVI connector don't work with Lotus.
Update: If you set "GraphicsEnabler=no", you will get DisplayPort, HDMI, and the dual-link DVI to work out of the box, without any hacking at all.
Update 2: Major difference when not using GraphicsEnabler=yes is that no frame buffer is loaded and applications like DVD player and Steam games will crash.
With the current default frame buffer for 6850, "Duckweed", (AtiConfig=Duckweed), DVI-D and DisplayPort work, but HDMI does not display an image, even though connected displays are recognized.
