I just looked at the Asus website page for your board and downloaded the manual.
It references Realtek LAN.
Different web pages give links to download Windows drivers for both Atheros and Realtek.

I've only installed AppleRTL8169Ethernet-v2.0.6.Kext, deleted AtherosL1cethernet.Kext and set my ethernet to en0 and then it worked!
