Hey guys,
I built my first custom PC last week in hopes of turning it into a Hackintosh.
[i7 4770k, MSI B85-G43, ASUS Gtx660, Samsung 840pro]
I also bought the snow leopard retail disc to do a clean install and update to mavericks.
I followed tonymacx's snowleopard installation guide and changed my BIOS settings accordingly including setting boot priority to CD ROM. Burned iboot haswell 1.0.1 to an empty disc, put it in my PC and tried to boot it, but instead of the boot prompt all I get is this message, "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press any key"
Is there anything I am missing? I did a lot of research but I am unable to find a solution. Did I make any mistakes? Please help.

Haxkj...

check BIOS settings as your board has UEFI BIOS,

Also the 660 video card is to new .... need something like a nVidia 9500GT

Try it w/o the video card and use only the onboard video,

Also we do not use MultiBeast as the document says....
