So I have oc'ed my little old friend to 3.6ghz almost a year ago and had no problems either in windows or SL. I had to reinstall my SL 'coz I tried to update to mountain lion without succeding, and decided to go back to SL 10.6.8.
I had like a zillion problems till i got it to work like the previous install but i had to load the default speeds for the CPU, and now it keeps giving kernel panics every time i boot with the OC applied. As i said in the beginning, my OC is totally stable, i've been using it over a year, and had no problems, but now the only way i cant avoid the kernel panic is to load the default speed for the CPU, if I load my OC settings the system will boot but after 10 seconds it crashes.
Anyone have any idea?
