I set DVMT to 64MB in BIOS. It was 32MB by default and that was causing a kernel panic at boot.

i have the same issues exactly with HD 520! any solution found? :/

For those unfamiliar, since macOS Sierra 10.12 update, Skylake's Intel HD 530 integrated graphics has had certain graphical artifacts or 'glitches' in the upper left corner of the menu bar and elsewhere. This does not occur under OS X El Capitan.

Veteran hacker PikerAlpha has come up with a simple solution that solves the issue for macOS Sierra. This can be done using DSDT, SSDT or via Clover's Devices > Add Properties to inject AAPL,GfxYTile.

For CustoMac Desktops, use MultiBeast's Graphics > HD 530 setting (This includes ig-platform-id of 0x19120000) and add the above code into your Clover config.plist. Reboot and glitches be gone.

Doing this completely screwed up my graphics in my Hackintosh. It no longer has full acceleration and shows my card as a 6mb card again. I reran multibeast and removed the line of code from the config.plist file and nothing works. Since clearly the intel 530 graphics card is not compatible with mac, what graphics card should I get? I used to use a GTS 450 and i literally had no issues with it at all on any version of mac os, but it is incompatible with z170 chipset boards

Sounds like you corrupted your config.plist due to incorrect edits with a text editor...

This is correct, the system Kernel Panics as soon as the screen is powered off/on. There's a related thread in General Help where a user managed to grab a screen of the kernel panic, but a solution hasn't been found so far. It's a shame, as it's quite the issue.

Can somebody who has working sierra properly with all hw, mobo h110n (series 100) with intel HD 530 graphic stand alone upload config.plist? I m still fighting. Its almost two month. In thread i see a lot. But doesnt help. I Still get glitch in left up corner. Wrong resolution. Sound quality. Even i not try 4k lg tv as secondary display. I realy need hepl. Todays i scrued my clover and even my working win 10 not booting up.

How do you mean? Bios or kext in sierra?
