May I confirm whether installing BCM94352Z to Lenovo ThinkPad T470 (incl. ThinkPad XXV) requires bypassing the whitelist from the actual UEFI firmware?

Hi, I've been working on my T470 too, but I can't make Intel HD620 and audio working.

Could you please provide me the guides you used? I've followed many guides but failed every times.

Thank you

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.
http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.html

Although you should read the FAQ for an overview of issues, the Clover guide is linked from the first question: "Q. Where do I start?", just after the bold face "Clover Guide".
Here is a direct link, just to be clear:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-booting-the-os-x-installer-on-laptops-with-clover.148093/

Also, your profile must be filled out with complete details as requested in the FAQ, again under "Q. Where do I start?". All seven details requested are equally important.

And if you have an issue (after following the guide), or on any other problem, you must provide a detailed description of the problem including information that helps us understand what you're doing. Always attach "Problem Reporting" files as per FAQ.

The required files and data are fully detailed in the last question in the FAQ:
"Q. What are typical "Problem Reporting" files?"

There is not WiFi Whitelist on UEFI since TX50 series I think. have you tried to add non Lenovo WiFi Card?

As far as I can tell from a T470p the BCM94352Z works. There is not whitelist prohibiting the usage of non Lenovo
equipment in those models. Can't speak for older Lenovos tough.

Hi

I have been trying to get my T470 USB to boot for days now. Can you provide a quick guide how you got the setup USB to boot?

Thanks

Hi Sam,

Would You mind to share BIOS setting on lenovo t470? I have setup boot mode to legacy only, disable virtualization, disable secure boot, but every I boot from my usb bootable Sierra, it always back to my uploaded attachment.

In my bootable disk, I’ve copied the config.plist for intel H20, and I install in dual boot mode with Windows 10. (Using current windows 10 by applying diskpart step before).

Please advise, what did I miss?

Best Regards

Your profile has no hardware details. Please fix as per FAQ:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/

And you should probably be using UEFI.
Refer to the guide:
