I wrote a reply earlier but strangely it is not here.
I have a question:
When I use xcode to edit config.plist, when I try to save it, it says it is locked. I try to unlock, it does not allow that.
I tried using the app BATCHMOD to change permissions. but it still is locked. Changed it using finder[config.plist info] making EVERYONE have both read & write, but it still indicates it is locked when I try to save it from xcode.
Will I get any different result using the terminal to change the ownership of the config.plist file or is something else holding the lock?
-------------------------------------------------UPDATE-------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE: I had a crash that requires me to re-install macOS on my z87x. I am having difficulty doing that with Unibeast. I think I will be able to re-install and I am NOT requesting help doing so yet. I'm going to continue to try using UNIBEAST. I had no difficulty using Unibeast to install Sierra before.
Thanks for all the help received from folks posting in the forum.
