Hi, I have been searching and found some info from last year saying that the 6770 is useable, but you have to flash the bios to a 5770's. I was hoping that by now Lion includes support for the 6770 without need to flash to another card. If not, does flashing to a 5770 effect the performance of the 6770 in any way? I only ask because I have the option to trade a friend my 5750 for the 6770 (Non Vapor-X).

It doesn't mean anything. You can add another cards device ID, but it won't work.

Um you don't clearly understand what I am stating do you?

The device IDs of GPUs are added into Chimera so with GraphicsEnabler=Yes it chooses the correct frame buffer and you get full functioning GPU with that choice.

I did not say to flash the card to another Device ID.

Please read and understand a post before inputting.
