Re: SAMSUNG SERIES 7 SLATE/TABLET ::IN PROGRESS:: 10.7.2
I'm not sure if i understand your current position but,
this is what i'm doing to learn how to code. you need to start with the basics and learning html and css, is currently a nice way to learn coding basics in general, for me at least. here's the free link for a series of video tutorials for just that purpose
http://learncss.tutsplus.com/
for porting linux drivers, i think that requires hex editing to make the drivers compatible with any general system of a different OS and make it independent of any other drivers . i'm speaking with little knowledge of the subject and i'm not an everyday pro who does this for a living(just getting that out there)
and i found that mac uses a different driver model than other unix OSes
http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/ ... ction.html
you will need to convert the normal unix model from linux to Mac's IO kit model
http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/ ... model.html

i'm going to keep following this thread. if you make any headway, I will consider buying this tablet and test.
good luck and keep pushing through!
