Ok, just one last question (for today ) overally speaking if I try in legacy mode, what differs from UEFI mode, except for maybe faster boot?
Faster boot is primary UEFI advantage.
And less hassle with MBR boot records/etc.
Some BIOS will not boot legacy to a GPT drive. You will find out about that later.
Finally, a small victory, in legacy mode I was able to boot the installer and do the F2 F4 sequence.
No need for any files now that you're in the installer.
But at least you have them when you go to patch ACPI.
