Well, I know how to mount it with the script mount_efi.sh (I sent the zip from that).It is possible to get the files that way, but then you have to know how to mount the EFI partition on your USB.
With two partition/MBR, the "CLOVER EFI" volume is mounted automatically upon inserting the USB stick, so it is easier.
But MBR partition could be a better way for booting, maybe the notebook supports partially UEFI, it was from 2012, with Win7 shipped on board.
