Update. Done some research I also de-
compiled AppleXsanScheme.kext. Also found that Xsan is
Xsan is Apple Inc.'s storage area network (SAN) or clustered file system for macOS. Xsan enables multiple Mac desktop and Xserve systems to access shared block storage over a Fibre Channel network.

Im not connected via Fibre channel to the NAS although this has also happened on 3 other machines. This is what i found when de-compiling AppleXsanScheme.kext.

This has occurred when i changed my Server to RAID I'm guessing that this is the problem caused by backing up via Time Machine to a RAID configured Server.

I have also turned off Time Machine on my Desktop leaving another machine with Time Machine left on to see if this problem still occurs or maybe this could be a one off not sure tho.

Now with Webkit. Not sure if this is another problem or certain websites causing the problem had this issue since upgrading to 10.12 i think the famous Facebook is in with it also as Chrome & Firefox crashes when on Facebook happens on Windows in my testing.

If anyone has any ideas let me know.

Thanks

Jack.

Just had the Safari web-kit crash here too. System hadn't been up more than a couple of minutes. Hadn't got as far as FB.

Been happening fairly often recently too. No Raid here. I removed Chrome a couple of weeks ago because of it's habit of automatically updating, unbidden. As did Google Earth (I didn't ask for the now free 'Pro" version but got it both on the macOS and Windows 10, without checking I wanted it).

Sorry I can't help, but I suspect it must be a new bug on the Apple side since 10.12.6.

Is it a kernel panic your getting or is it Safari just crashing? I actually did a clean install and it fixed my issue with Safari crashing. But this at the same time started happening after a Powercut. My Apple MacBook had the same thing also. So not sure what's causing it.

Luckily, it's not happened yet so far today... When the 'event' does occur I get the pop-up "Safari Web-kit has quit unexpectedly" or very similar wording etc. I can't find a crash log for the last time involved.

Will keep an eye out and report back ...

It was happening more than once on my end. My Desktop here was suffering from the Webkits crash. I did a clean install and it fixed it so far. Although I did have some add-ons to Safari probably doesn't help things.

Safari web-kit crash here too. Always on FB or a website with much videos on same page on 10.12.6 ; I was using nVidia GTX 970 without activate Intel Video when the crash happen. The solution for me now was activate Intel Video on BIOS (inject intel on config.plist to) and boot. The crashes vanish! Maybe with a future update of Nvidia Driver or macOS solve the problem. :|

I have onboard iGPU disabled always have been disabled from day one. But only difference with your System is that I'm not using Nvidia Web Drivers. I fixed my problem with a Fresh Install. I think what started the Crash was a Power Cut a few days ago my system was acting really strange. I.e Corrupt Boot Volume I'm guessing.

But its interesting to see that other people are having the same problems.

Im using Sleep on my Desktop and not got the Webkit Crash no more. I had the Webkit Crash on Cold Boots also. But disappeared when I reinstalled.
