Restoring from Time Machine

Hello,

If I want to restore from a time machine back up, I would normally hit command R before the apple logo appeared. But this doesn't work on a customac.

Selecting 'Recovery' at the Clover bootloader doesn't seem to get anywhere as the line under the Apple logo never seems to get all the way.

What should I do to get into the recovery partition should I need to? Thank you.

I sure did! I forget the source but this is basically what you have to do:

Mount your EFI partition with EFI Mounter
Download FakeSMC.kext from this site's downloads list
Navigate to EFI/CLOVER/kexts/10.11 and drag FakeSMC.kext into it.

Now the Recovery icon in the clover bootloader will load up the recovery partition and access to time machine is there.
