[resolved] Instant reboot after upgrading to Clover 5098 (Asus Prime Z370-A 8700K)

Hi there,

I upgraded Clover to 5098 from a version from late last year, it now reboots instantly. I tried adding -v -x and -s, it still reboots instantly, last thing I see on the screen is:

Any ideas?

Edit: Downgrading to Clover_v2.4k_r4961-UEFI.pkg fixes it, but I would like to get the newer version working
Edit2: I had to install Clover manually selecting "AptioMemoryFix", then it booted, thank you!

newer versions of clover has changed the directory structure from drivers64UEFI to drivers/UEFI

make sure you have a copy of files from drivers64UEFI to drivers/UEFI

then do a search for End Randomseed if you didn't take note of what files were in there
 
I did take note, I have a MacBook I used to generate the bootable USB, I have placed FakeSMC.kext and NullCPUPowerManagement.kext - it appears to have no effect what files I add/remove, it does not reach the kernel and reboots after the screen I posted above.

you need to concentrate on drivers/UEFI folder and not so much on your kexts

missing AptioMemoryFix
 
Thank you, I installed again and manually ticked AptioMemoryFix, I now see this:

# find . | grep -i AptioMemoryFix
./EFI/CLOVER/drivers/UEFI/AptioMemoryFix.efi

It seems it is no longer part of the standard install.

After trying to boot, it gets further now, thank you :) - I think now I just need to add some kexts.
