Hi Guys!

I just stumbled over a Intel NUC YT video and I was very pleast about it to watch.
Unfortunately the WIFI/BT Chip is hard soldered and cannot be removed.

So it started to make me curious to see if there are other vendors.

I found the ASUS Mini PC PN60-BB5012MD (90MR0011-M00120)
with Intel Core i5-8250U, M.2, Intel UHD Graphics 620 (IGP), HDMI 1.4, etc....

I saw that the WIFI/BT chip is not soldered and can be replaced by a Broadcom.
There is also enough USB3 connections and additionally a Type C with DP

Does anybody of you ever tested this tiny "Mac Mini" clone/derivative?

Appreciate your expertise.

Hopefully someone will attempt this machine soon, it looks promising

It has an Ethernet port so you don't need the WiFi. and, if you do, an access point will be cheaper than any WiFi card which would work. For 400 bucks it would be wiser to buy a used Mac Mini if size is objective.
