What? Really?
It’s normal for my Nitro+ Radeon RX580?
Why like this? Won’t the GPU get hot in temperature ?

Of course it is normal.

Check any review of a multi-fan RX series card. Your manufacturer even.

The GPU VBIOS usually sets the threshold for auto-fan start at around 55-degrees-C.

When it gets hot while doing something intensive, then the fans kick in

when it is idling, ie, not doing much, then the fans don't need to kick in

this behaviour has been the norm for many years

@UtterDisbelief
First time to touch this GPU with auto-fan spinning at around 55-degress-C,
Never used AMD GPU, always keep using Nvidia GPU.
But it's cool with this auto-fan spinning detection feature when the temperature is high.
Thank for sharing info.

I am doing update to Monterey.
But need to create Monterey USB + OC in Catalina for nowadays.
Any better idea to create Monterey USB + OC in High Sierra?

@Feartech
It's a cool AMD Radeon GPU, first time to experience it.
The AMD GPU chipset will detect when the fans should kick-in and should NOT.
And this happened many years ago.

It's funny that the 2 fans are spinning until you see the macOS login password screen, it just stop immediately.
And it won't spinning again, no matter how long I use.

Seriously, this is normal condition?

yes, you can use opencore

although if you have High Sierra, then you can do the USB setup in there
@Feartech
I done my Catalina installed. Everything works, and it took me few days to learn.
So, should I just upgrade direct from Catalina Mac store OR
as usual creating USB boot loader with OC for Monterey?

If going for Big-Sur also having the same problem?

how many times do you need to be told?

Hi, everyone.
Really need help !!!
I am very headache and problem for installation Catalina right now.
I reinstall by using Clover for fresh installation at SSD.
(*I tested lots of times using Nvidia GPU, sometimes succeeded installed Catalina and sometimes it failed.
***Using Boot Arg " dart=0 nvda_drv=1" ***
Reason Failed: Screen showing black screen / no display with an icon - please refer to the attachment.

So, I decided to try reinstall Catalina again, and also fresh installation with my another GPU - AMD Radeon.
Using this GPU Radeon for Catalina installation, always turned into black screen with no display icon.
***Is this GPU needs any boot-arg ?*** / Any special boot?
This AMD Radeon RX580 is fully native for Catalina, as I tested.

Who knows this problems?
What have I done wrong or missed?
I knew this mobo could run well in Catalina.
Just don't know what I have done wrong or mistaken during the Catalina installation.

Can someone please help?

Boot in verbose mode and post a picture of the screen when it stops.

zip and attach your /EFI folder.
