Realtek 8111 not working on Monterey or Ventura

Hi all,

OpenCore 0.8.5
MSI X570-A Pro
Ryzen 3600
Sapphire 5700XT




In Big Sur my ethernet was working fine, but after apply ota update to Monterey, then stopped working and I can't connect to Internet..

I've tried several version of https://github.com/Mieze/RTL8111_driver_for_OS_X/releases and https://bitbucket.org/RehabMan/os-x-realtek-network/downloads/ with no luck.

This is the card in Windows / Hardware ID:
PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_7C371462&REV_15

You are looking in the wrong place.
It is normal for a Mac to say that no Ethernet cards are installed because on a Mac the Ethernet interface is integrated on the logic board.

It is generally wrong to use a Laptop SMBIOS with a Desktop.

Ok, thanks for your response. Anyway, I can't connect to internet because ethernet interface is missing, when I go to System > Preferences > Network there is no Ethernet:

No idea - I have no interest in or experience with AMD builds.

If you want to take a look at my build thread, I’m using the same Realtek kext. It can be flakey sometimes but mostly works. I’m using SMBIOS iMac19,1.
