Hello,
Recently I build my own Hackintosh using the following:
Gigabyte Z97X-UD5H motherboard
Intel Core i5-4690 LGA 1150 Haswell CPU @3,7Ghz (according to my 'Hac', no overlocking done though)
Corsair H55 Hydro CPU cooler
Gigabyte NVidia Geforce GTX 760 /rev2.0 2048mb Videocard
Samsung 250 Gb Evo 850 SSD
Crucial Ballistix DDR3 1866 CL9 8Gb memory kit
Coolermaster GX 550W PSU
Running OSX Mavericks 10.10.1
Windows 8.1 in dual boot
Build went smooth, dual boot installation went as a breeze and all runs and purrs like a little kitten...
The one mind-aching problem I have is that OSX freezes every now and then... No particular reason for doing so as far as I can tell. I't s driving me NUTS!
I tried several tips 'n tricks in this forum but no luck so far..
What I did: I loaded the optimized default for my bios, I set my memory settings to 'optimal for best stability', Unchecked the VT-d option and all the other hints by Tony in the installation guide. After installation I installed the nessecary KEXT's for my audio en network and some other 'tweaks' of which I don't know the use because I'm a Hackintosh newby...
Can someone please help me out here? I don't know what I did wrong or what to try to get rid of these nagging freezes of OSX because the machine works just fine on W8.1...
Any comment or hints are more than welcome!
THANKS!!!
