Hello everyone!

I have a problem installing Snow Leopard on my HP xw4600 Workstation!
I have downloaded iBoot and Snow Leapard, I burnt them on a DVD!
When I boot iBoot and put the Snow Leapard and hit F5 and select Mac os... I get an error says EBIOS read error: Error 0x04! Then it says you need to restart your computer. hold down the power button until it turns off then press the button power again!

Please can anybody here help me?

alascity..

Your download of OSX is most likely the problem ....

You need to purchase OSX Snow Leopard from the Apple Store.... for 20.00 USD.

http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard

Also You should see if others have used this hardware configuration in making a OSX Hack.
Which is you search w Google will show results - users report issues w the Network and Sound
Sound solved w the Voodoo kexts - Onboard Network was not so you may need a new Network card.
Also you may have VIDEO issues w the Quadro... not sure....

Order that And Try again....

Thanks, I have purchased it, I managed to make it work but the mouse doesn't seem to respond! What should I do please?

alsacity

Check settings in BIOS for Mouse and Keyboard USB support - or for Legacy USB support - these need to be enabled.

As you neglected to tell us which mice you have - I as what mouse and keyboard do you have.

Generally the HP oem versions to work.

If you have a PS2 Mouse or Keyboard these need an additional kext installed.
