SOLVED!!!

Hi twistedsystems,

many thanks for that hint ^^just deleted the "npci=0x3000" flag from Chamäleon.Boot.plist, then reboot (without any problem) and sound instantly full working with NORMAL multibeast audio drivers, no edit needed...
So also thanks to toleda!

Would be interesing why ;-)

Did not have those flags, and still not working here…

Affirmative, works well on Z68XP-UD3;

- Install AC889 from Multibeast (latest multibeast)

- Remove "npci=0x3000" flag from Chamäleon.Boot.plist

- Repair permissions (i.e with KextWizard)

- Reboot

Thanks.

Audio and also build-in Ethernet now working! Thanks man. I removed npci=0x3000 and then patched AppleHDA.kext with Toleda instructions.

Success on GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 (BIOS F12):

- removed npci=0x3000 from boot.plist

- installed AppleHDA.kext for ALC889 with latest Multibeast

- reboot

-> Still no sound, but AppleHDA was present in SystemInformation/Software/Extensions and IOHDADeviceCodecs were found in IOreg

- manually changed layout-id in dsdt.aml from

Buffer (0x04)
{
0x0c, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00
},

to

Buffer (0x04)
{
0x01, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00
},

because this is my layout-id in 10.8.4

reboot -> audio OK, skidman=happy camper

Many thanks to twistedsystems!

So, I had also problem and found a solution for it:
All old kexts how worked with 10.8.4 doesn't work more...

Chameleon 2.2r62 with all Moduls, only not the acpi!
HDAEnabler etc. And I used only Nullcpumanagment and Fakesmc.

Example, only the smbios.plist have to be remade:

I will try this when I get back from work - however, I do not have a DSDT since I am running on UEFI. I hope it maps correctly for me (cross fingers).

Hunky dory....!

Okay, simply changing npci=0x3000 to npci=0x2000 prior the combo update solved it.
(Does most probably not matter to change it prior or after the update, actually I even first changed it, rebootet to confirm that it does exactly that without hitches and thereafter applied the update.)

Additional effects:
Backtrace of snbgraphics during verbose boot vanished, system report/SATA/SATAExpress shows the "Intel 6 Series Chipset" again which used to be all "generic" prior that npci change.
