Yep. Well with Macs. Currently, NVME m.2s won't work in a RAID on a Mac. Get four ACHI 256GB or 512GB and the carrier board and you're good to go. Fast as you can get on a Mac (for now).

How are you guys getting these outrageous speeds, I have a Samsung PCI M2 card and I get nowhere near those write speeds

Nice. Thanks for this. I like the fact that AHCI has native support in OS X (less patching is always preferable), but I'll gladly go through the extra technical hoops to get a blazing fast 960 Pro x 4 setup going via one of them squid boards. :=)

EDIT: Does anyone know if a 1+0 RAID boot setup with 4 SSD drives is feasible, or are those drives reliable enough that it makes better sense just to do RAID 0 and forget about the mirror?
