pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

What app do you use to edit?

I use PlistEdit Pro but you can also use text editors or Xcode.

DO NOT use OpenCore Configurator because there has been a lot of reports that it corrupts config.plists.

What should I use for MAC address? When trying to paste my MAC address form my wifi card I get an error.

And what is MLB?

If you've already done it, yes, you can use the same files/method.

There are several methods that involve SSDT. Two require that USBInjectAll.kext be installed in /EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other/ and one does not require USBInjectAll.kext. Make sure you follow the method you previously used.

Hey, my hack has been really stable about a week since fresh install, today it started acting up, does bot boot, keeps getting stuck at apple logo with empty loading bar. Restart does not seem to help, only, when i shut down and boot again, it starts again and "send report" says this:

It appears to be due to USB. Try with a minimal number of USB devices connected.

I'm trying the OC EFI downloaded here and everything seems to work fine except the GPU sensor is not showing.

Is this normal for VirtualSMC? I have a RX 580 and installed all default plugins come virtualSMC.

Clover+FakeSMC works fine

Correct. It's due to VirtualSMC.

I don't know if FakeSMC will work correctly with OpenCore. I've never tried.

Thanks - inserted the MAC address from the onboard ethernet.

I presume that MLB reference to sport is not a standard argument in the OC config file :)

All the boot errors are gone, but now a new one has come "No Schema for new item 3. (what ever that means?)

Thanks!

Do you know about this page? https://opencore.slowgeek.com

When I post my config file to this page, I get a lot of errors. What about your config file from your own computer, when you check it at the linked page?

"No schema" usually means you left one of the fields blank or entered invalid data.
