pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

I never had to change the darkwake setting with this motherboard. I think the last time I had to mess with the darkwake setting was on a Z170 motherboard on Sierra.

If you know that sleep works when Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are disabled. Triple check that your USB configuration is right. Try redoing your SSDT. It may be the same thing that's causing problems with your USB speakers.

I don't know what you are asking about DSDT.
okay,
I dont know how SSDT or DSDT works.. I don't even know the difference
have to look into it...

Try using Hackintool to redo your USB config.

Okay, I used Hackintool to export the USB files
I tried with the USBPorts.kext in the EFI only (instead of USBInjectAll.kext, and no .aml files)
And I tried with the generated .aml files only

Did not solve the sleep problem nor the USB Audio problem.

____
I tried to fix the darfkwake issue by disabling proximitywake (which was set to 1)
sudo pmset -a proximitywake 0
And then I tried to disable AppleWatch unlock alltogether

But it did not help either...

I am back to using your method from post 1:

Download the Strix Z370 USB ports.aml file.
Rename it to SSDT-USB.aml.
Copy it to /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/, and, lastly.
Add your uia_exclude boot argument to config.plist.
I added (uia_exclude=HS03;SS03;HS04;SS04;USR1;USR2;HS11;HS14;HS08;HS09;HS10;SS08;SS09;SS10) and now Hackintool only shows 15 ports. Only some of them are green (active). This is correct, isn't it?
Disable all the USB 15 port limit KextsToPatches in config.plist.

What else is there to do to fix the USB Audio after Sleep?

To use Hackintool, use the the USB port limit removal patches.
Find a USB 2 device and plug then unplug it in to every USB port on the computer.
Find a USB 3 device and plug then unplug it in to every USB port on the computer.
Click on the button on the bottom of the Hackintool window to generate your SSDT and kext.
Decide if you want to use the SSDT or the kext. Choose one, don't use both.

Thanks! Will do.
I have nearly the exact same system as you, so I don't really understand why this is all necessary...

I also realized some Bluetooth stutter, now. I can see it when e.g. doing circles with the mouse (or trackpad). It will stop for a microsecond every three seconds or so. It is not a range Issue. It also happens when very close to the antenna (-49 dBm)
It is there with the new card and different antennas and also with the old one. In BIOS there is no stutter, so this must be something Mac OS or Clover related. It is also there when I disable Wifi and have only Bluetooth on.
Disabling Handoff did not help.
Deleting the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist from /Library/Preferences did not help.
Disabling any overclocks in BIOS did not help.
I updated the BIOS to 2001. The BIOS and everything seems to work fine. I don't see any difference. But it did not help either...

I really don't know why you are having problems with your card either. Are you using a PCI-e adaptor or an M.2 adaptor?

I am getting -51dBm with my Magic Mouse 2 right now and it's smooth.

yes, I am. So Bluetooth works off of the m.2 usb port.

The problem is not bluetooth related. it also happens with usb mice.

so it is probably the same usb problem, that leads to the other symptom.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense...

I have quite a few USB devices connected and sleep is working fine here...

Sleep works now. I don't really know why.

I created my own .aml files using Hackintool and its tutorial.
This gives me 15 devices in XHC but shows over 20 in Hackintool.
But still No USB Audio after wake up from sleep (except on the red USB 3.1 ports that are on a different controller)
And I have no Idea why HID devices such as mice and trackpads are stuttering every three seconds... It is not high system load. and I stopped all programs that are related to input devices or display...

I think I will use your .aml files and my uia_exclude=... bootflag again.

Strange... I wonder what got sleep working...

CPU load should not impact Bluetooth HID devices...

I will try and find my USB audio adaptor in the next few days to test. I'm going to be a little busy today and tomorrow...
