pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

My 8700K goes up to 80 C...(here ambient temps are around 37 C)
No Delid,stock freq,LLC Level 3,MCE OFF,XMP 16-18-38 1.35V DDR4 3000MHZ
I settled my fans to goes to maximum at 70C,but are around 2200rpm so can't reach 3000 rpm.

Try stress testing your CPU in Windows and see what your temps are with the same BIOS settings.

What kind of cooler are you using?

I am using H100iV2 with EK Vardar FF5 connected to a Y PWM splitter.
Max pump +12V (checked)
In windows same Temps but fine rpm fan curve.
If can help, I use iMacPro SMBIOS with MacbookPro15,1 frequency Vectors.

If the temps are the same, I have to assume that the reading you are getting in macOS is wrong.

What happens when you put the CPU under full load in Windows and lower the fan speed to 2200rpm?

I can listen that the fan are running high on Windows

Thank you for your time pastrychef,
I solved it,it was a BIOS error:
If I put maximum at 60C in my BIOS,in macOS maximum is at 70C

That's interesting. I'll have to try adjusting the speeds in my BIOS to see if there's any difference. Thanks.

Thanks so much for your support & time @pastrychef.

Also I have another question,I want to build a Guide here at tonymacx86,is there a format doc for writing a guide?
How you entered in Golden Builds?

Yes. This is the template that you must follow when writing a guide:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/read-me-first-required-tonymacx86-user-builds-template.25660/

Post to Users Builds. Whether or not your build is selected to be considered a Golden build is up to the discretion of forum mods.

Okay, what I have found that spotlights and mdworkers kinda kept high frequency...
Here are screenshots where I disabled spotlight. IDLE and full load.
