pastrychef's Asus ROG Strix Z370-G Gaming (WI-FI AC) build w/ i9-9900K + AMD 6600 XT

Security Update 2019-001 (HT201222) went smooth without any issues with EFI Unified r5.1.4 and it is now 10.14.6 (18G1012).

@pastrychef Thanks, it's working fine

Please try with this version of WhateverGreen.

Sleep is now working fine but wakeup does with dark screens and also no network connectivity. The only thing possible would be a power off/on.

Do you get any panic reports when you reboot?

Please enter the following in to Terminal and post the output:
Code:
pmset -g log | grep -i failure

Nope, no panic reports. Just reboots and starts all the apps where I left them.

$ pmset -g log | grep -i failure

Please post your EFI folder.

Have you tried to see how things work with just one monitor connected?

It was working fine before the macOS upgrade, with all displays connected.

Same happens also with one display connected.

I posted already the EFI folder and it was working fine before the upgrade, with all displays connected.

Same with one display connected.

I tried backtracking your posts and can't find your EFI.

So, I tried 10.15.1 with Clover 5098, and the very latest VirtualSMC (I think its 1.09), got it via Hackintool.

Results on my X299 system was not good. 3 system freezes in about half an hour - on 5096 with an older VirtualSMC, never froze (I have gone back to 5096, and again so far no freezes). Curious to know if you have encountered any issues with 5098?

Not sure if you are using VirtualSMC, would also be curious about the very latest version (my package includes the SMCProcessor stuff, so three files in total), if you are using the very latest Virtual SMC packages, any issues?

I am on Clover r5098 with latest VirtualSMC right now. These updates all helped get FileVault working with Catalina 10.15.1 + Clover.

I have not experienced any freezes yet.

Side note:
I updated the BIOS on my Z390 and updated to OpenCore 0.5.2. Reliability seems to have drastically improved. I don't know what they did to the BIOS, but I never see the "End Randomseed" boot error anymore.
