Well, it is good that I didn't decide to replace it or put It to EFI folder lol.
May I ask you to take a look on the changes that these guys did, maybe it will be easy to implement them to your build?
Did you try making adjustments in Audio MIDI Setup? It's an app located in /Applications/Utilities/.

AppleHDA is Apple's audio driver. It changes with different versions of macOS. Modding it will can work but will probably require modding each time Apple makes changes.
AppleALC does all of this work for us.
