This is exactly how I was doing it. I'll try again now, being extra careful, I've downloaded the installer myself this time (previously it was clover configurator). Let's see if it survives. I've copied your uia_exclude, disabled all patches and made sure SSDT-USB.aml file is there.
 
@pastrychef Okay, it survived this time and I've booted from my SSD with Clover 4533. Bluetooth is still broken...

Your Bluetooth is plugged in to M.2 slot?

Please post your config.plist so I can see if anything is wrong there.

@pastrychef By the way, in your 3.2 version there's a patch with name 'com.apple.driverusb', shouldn't that be 'driver.usb' with a dot inside?
 
@pastrychef I disabled the SSDT-USB.aml and uia_exclude now and enabled the patches, but there's still no bluetooth when I boot...

Thanks a lot! Now it seems like the bluetooth is working (keyboard and mouse) :) but now the system doesn't boot and instead displays black background and white crossed circle. When using your plist on my USB key, I have the system booting just fine with wifi and bt working. What's going on with that circle when booting from SSD?

I don't know. Did you install Clover in legacy mode? If you did, make sure you delete all that stuff from the main directory. Otherwise, there's no reason why the same EFI folder won't work.

I've copied the USB key (AGAIN!) EFI to the SSD and now... Now the system is just dead. Not matter which drive I chose to boot from (I've had secondary non-nvme disk as a carbon copy cloner backup) it displays black background with white crossed circle. I've wasted whole day and the machine is in worst state than it was before...
