No. These Intel NICs need additional drivers. Small Tree, Sonnet, and SolarFlare made Mac drivers. I know that SolarFlare discontinued support. I don't know if Small Tree and Sonnet still maintain their drivers. I have not kept up.

The firmware on the NICs may or may not need modification for the drivers to work. For example, if you picked up Dell branded X520 cards, you would need to mod the firmware on the cards before the Small Tree drivers would work.

If you want OOB 10Bb NICs, AQC107 cards work by just enabling the "ForceAquantiaEthernet" quirk in OpenCore. AQC113 based cards can also work, but I don't have any personal experience with them. Also, I think I read that AQC113 based cards may prevent sleep/wake from working correctly.

On the hackintoshes that I have left, I use either Dell DW1560 or Lenovo 04x6020 cards on all of them with AirportBrcmFixup and BrcmPatchRAM. All have been updated to Ventura 13.3.

I have read elsewhere that as of 13.3, Apple has removed the drivers (and thereby, the support) for the AQC107. Other users have had a terrible time trying to get their cards to work. Have you, or anyone else know anything about this, true or just a bad rumor? I'm currently on 13.4 B1 and I have an OWC external drive (Thunderbolt) with an AQC107 in it, and it really doesn't work, but I just don't know if the driver being removed is the issue or not.

Anyone else on site or comment about this?

Hmm... I no longer have any hacks with AQC107 cards, but the AQC113 in my Mac Studio is working and my OWC AQC107 Thunderbolt adaptor is still working in Ventura 13.3.

In many ways, it seems unreasonable that they would do this. I also have an OWC external Thunderbolt 10G adapter and I just can't think they would just end it. It's probably just flaky TB on my end.

However, there are a few users on that "other" site that are convinced that the game is up for Aqc107 NICs. Now Aqc107 NICs are different from our OWC external 10G adapters. The chip may be the same but the interface is different.

Hmm.......and, as it relates to Ventura 13.3 etc, well, there are a lot of problems with Network cards. We'll see how this all plays out....

I'm just speculating, but I think it's unlikely that Apple would drop support for AQC107 especially when it was used in some real Macs.

it's unlikely to happen since iMacPro has AQC107 on board. Probably it's a matter of Vendor ID or similar, I speculate.

I suspect it's one of your USB 3.1 gen 2 ports... Please try disabling USB 3.1 gen 2 in BIOS and see if it boots.
