i tried all methods nothing works on uhd model for 10.3.1 2nd part installation .. but with 10.12.6 i got no problem

I have been looking for a solution for 3 days!!! you are my hero

I disabled from BIOS all other drives except for one single hard disk then it allows me to pass this error.

I am also stuck. Attempted to follow instructions as listed by various users to no success. osinstall.mkpg corrupt or missing. Removed file EmuVariablesUefi-64.efi as shown in previous posts, no success. Removed GTX970 and disable NVIDIA in clover menu. Still no joy here. Now it starts showing boot process however after initial boot I get blank screen.
:(

Looks like my Hackintosh journey is at an end. I can't get past the "The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged" issue. Tried every tip I could find here and elsewhere and still having the same issue.

I had the same issue when I tried the combo update. This worked for me (10.13.1 to 10.13.2) on HP Compaq 8300 Elite SFF with Nvidia GT 1030.

Disconnect all drives except the one to be updated (SSD).

1. Copy FakeSMC.kext to /Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER/kexts/Other
2. Uninstall Nvidia driver
3. Start macOS update from App store
4. On restart choose Install macOS from <your drive name>
5. Got a circle with a line across it.
6. Restart and choose Install macOS from <your drive name> again
7. Installation proceeded normally
8. On restart boot from <your drive name> disk
9. Reinstall updated Nvidia driver.
