good job guy! that's work.
I try to find the solution for 2 days, finally your guide make thing work.
In short: install the correct ALC based on your motherboard, then repair disk permissions in Disk Utility.

I had the same problem!
Fresh install with UEFI Clover boot loader everything works! No problem :)

fantastic, fixed for me as well with Multibeast 6.1.0

i UPDATED to Yosemite (i.e. not a fresh install) and ran Multibeast 7.0,

deleted HDA Enabler and Realtek8xx,

emptied trash

ran Multibeast 7

reboot

run Multicast 6.1.0 Without DSDT Realtek ALC887b Current

reboot

choose internal speakers

worked!

thank you so much, i haven't had working audio since Mavericks.....

Up to the moment everything works find (including audio after wake up from sleep).

Thanks!!!

Does not work for me and got a kernel panic now !!!

I'm using ALC887.. Delete old AppleHDA.kext then open up Multibeast and tick ALC887/888b Current then reboot and your sound should be good to go!

Fixed ALC888S on my DH55HC as well, even showing a error at the end of install, audio is now perfect.

Thank you!

It works as you written, thank you!. But with one problem. Sometimes sound disappears when I'm watching YouTube in Chrome for example. Then i must go in to sleep mode and wake computer again.

Anyone have a similar problem?
