Works perfectly - thanks Tony and Stork!!

Here's the step by step way to update:
:ch: Repair Permissions using the Disk Utility on the drive to be updated;*
:ch: Backup your current installation using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper;
:ch: Use the Software Update to download and install 10.9.2 (recommend using the Combo Update);
:ch: Re-boot;
:ch: Run MultiBeast for Mavericks and just select your audio driver to install and TRIM (if needed);
:ch: Re-boot; and
:ch: Repair Permissions again.

If you have TRIM enabled, check to see if it was affected by this update.

* You can use the Terminal instead of Disk Utility if you feel comfortable with a UNIX command:
Code:
sudo diskutil repairPermissions /

I lost all graphics after doing the 9.2 update, (Radeon 6770)
Spent HOURS trying to resolve.. The ONLY way i could fix it was to copy the extensions folder from my time machine backup and dump it over my new extensions folder then run a repair permissions.

Reboot, all is back to normal! Woo!

This is all I needed to use (KISS) Keep It Simple Stupid works for me.... Thanks a bunch, those security concerns were disturbing.

Seem to get a black screen with GTX 460. I have the boot screen with a spinning wheel and it gets to the final part and my monitor shuts off.

I have repaired permissions and can boot with nv_disable=1.

I have tried all different flags related to graphics. GraphicsEnabler=yes and no - npci=0x2000 and 3000 - pcirootuid=1 and 0.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Edit

Got it working! Added a few flags to my boot.plist

I added;
GraphicsEnabler=Yes
PCIRootUID=1
NPCI=0x3000
IGPEnabler=No

I think the IGP set to No fixed it for me. I couldn't get the graphics to boot yet could hear clicks of the volume if I pressed the keys. Everything working now.
