Installed the 10.8.2 upgrade using the combo upgrade file on both of my machines tonight:

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP5 TH - Everything worked fine after running MultiBeast and rebooting.
HP ProBook 4530s - Everything worked but audio. Had to install AppleHDA.kext from post #831 in this thread: http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook/63348-hp-probook-installer-4-1b1.html

Article: OS X 10.8.2 Update

I was feeling ballsy, so I updated from the App Store rather than downloading the Combo Update.

GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3 rev 1.3
Intel Core i3-2120
MSI Radeon 6570 2GB

Only had reinstall Toledo's Realtek 889 audio drivers through Multibeast. Everything else was golden.

Fixed. Had to delete all HDA audio, voodoo audio and, some flower eq kexts from system/library/extensions. Reinstalled the 889 codec via multibeast, rebooted, and viola.

Success - Used the combo update on my HP Probook 4530s xu015ut i3. Didn't have to mess with any of the kexts and no KP. Knock on W.o.o.d. :).....Don't forget to backup before the update. Murphys Law no backup and it will probably fail. Back it up and all will be fine.

Lost audio after installing combo update on z68a-d3h-b3 (UEFI).

Reinstall multibeast audio , and everything is working great now.

Hi, form Australia,
Install of update 10.8.2 (OSXUpdCombo10.8.2.dmg)

CPU: Intel i5-750
Graphics: PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 5770
Motherboard: Gigabyte P55A-UD3, BIOS ver. F7

As predicted by Tonymac, no sound after reboot.

Fixed by:

MuliBeast 4.6.1
Reinstall
> ALC8xxHDA for Legacy ALC 888 and ALC888b/887
> AppleHDA Rollback

Reboot, All working.

Updated using Combo update to 10.8.2. KP at boot time, then safe booting using -x. I have removed OemSMBIOS.kext and perm have been repaired. At restart, I ´ve got CONSTANT SPINNING WHEEL and again safe booting was my best bet. Finally, I´ve reinstalled OemSMBios.kext , replaced AppleACPIPlatform.kext as stated previously and did a sucessfull reboot with -f. Audio was restored using toleda´s alpha ML kexts and did install a dvd playback.framework patched to solve the DVD player error.
Edit: The eject key is not working and some of my HDDs are showing the yellow usb external icons...
Edit2: Solved with a modified IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext

GAZ68X-UD4-B3 F10 + i7 2600K + Geforce 8800 gts 640MB + ST31000524AS +3 HDDs + HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH24NS70

Gigabyte UD5H + 3770k and GTX570
Updated through App Store
Reboot, no sound. Multibeast and reinstall 898 kext/no DSDT
Everything is working fine ;)
