I think I may have found an issue, with the encoded digital audio and HDMI sound....

There is no issue with encoded digital audio and HDMI. There may be a problem with your implementation. Attach dsdt and copy of IOReg.

The dump (.txt) is not useful. The .ioreg is corrupt. Don't add .ioreg, just save the file. Attach a copy of IOReg and the AppleHDA with the encoded...binary.

Just tried doing a normal Save (file -> Save) - but when I try to open it up - it is telling me it is corrupted....

Hi

Any help would be useful. Having really problems with the sound on my Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 Board. Running 7.3.

Included DSDT.aml & ioreg.txt files

Tried Multibeast 4.2.1 and DSDT file DSDT-GA-P55-UD3-F9, no Joy
tried Multibeast 4.2.1 with no DSDT file Realtek ALC888 & AppleHDA Rollback no Joy.


Also tried a manual install of the AppleHDA.kext with Kextbeast followed guidelines no joy.

Feel I might have missed something right at the start.

Any hints would be helpful.

IOReg text file is not useful. IORegistryExplorer/File/Attach a Copy As...
The dsdt is ready for the AppleHDA.kext download. Install as instructed. Delete the ALC8xxHDA, HDAEnabler, etc.

Every time I try, it is always corrupted.

I am using IORegistryExplorer from Hardware IO Tools that I downloaded after downloading the latest XCode from the Mac App Store. (Version 3.0 (3.0d1).

I have tried
File -> Save
File -> Save As
File -> Save a copy as

Then every time I try to open it again - corrupt
