You can try my guide here. It should work for your Z590 motherboard using your 10th gen CPU. Use the one designated for Catalina > https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...re-i5-10400-i9-11900k-nvidia-gtx-1060.310287/First time with OpenCore wanted to attempt a Z590 build with 10th gen Intel. Keep getting the prohibited sign and now after weeding out a few kexts I’m hung up here. And suggestions?

Okay then try this one but remove the CPUID data under the Kernel section as your CPU is supported from Catalina 10.15.4 onwards. As with all the builds on the site you need to create your own UUID, ROM and board serials with Ssdtprgen to run. > https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/success-gigabyte-z590-vision-d-11700k-rx-6600-xt.316601/Yea no luck with those.
Tried many different things. Seems to be hung on thisOkay then try this one but remove the CPUID data under the Kernel section as your CPU is supported from Catalina 10.15.4 onwards. I think the problem stems from the fact that you are using a Z590 on a 10th gen Comet Lake chip (instead of 11th), and added to that you are trying to boot Catalina while most of the builds of Z590 that I know available currently are working mostly with Monterey. The 2nd build I suggested to you earlier seems to only be able to run on Monterey.Tried many different things. Seems to be hung on this
Good stuff. That's consistent with the general state of z590 hacks. There's lots of discussion about alternatives for wireless. TB requires flashing the controller and other points well documented by CaseySJ et al at z490 / z590 thread, with reports of mixed results or better.Did a normal upgrade to Monterey. Everything seems to work except Bluetooth and onboard TB4 ports.
