I have an odd USB problem with High Sierra 10.13.6.
After startup, all non storage USB devices appear immediately they are plugged in, phones, headset, programmer, no problems but mass storage devices, USB sticks and hard drives don't come up.
The mass storage devices only appear after coming out of sleep, after that all USB mass storage can be plugged and unplugged without problems ... until the next shutdown/startup.
Anyone seen this and any hints where to look?
Apart from this minor irritation everything else works perfectly.
Motherboard is a Gigabyte Z270X-UD3.
Ken.
