Hello,
I've got a slightly different question:
I plugged a monitor(DVI) and a TV(HDMI) on my Nvidia GTX 650 (ASUS).
My problem is that my Mac OS X 10.9.2 tries to use the TV as main screen, but i do not use the TV in under OS X, i use it only under windows. The TV is most times turned off, but it seems that it still sends signals over HDMI, which makes my OS X think there is an other monitor I may want to use.
So my question is: Is it somehow possible to turn off the HDMI port, in a way such that it is also off while booting? (otherwise the login screen appears at the TV not on my monitor)
What I know until now:
There is a program called SwitchResX http://www.madrau.com/index.html
However, the problem is that it starts after login which is not useful for me.
My actual solution is to simply plug off the TV before booting OS X, but there must be a better solution
Thank you for your suggestions!
Regards, Florian
