Yes, I think it probably is firmware related.Thanks. Maybe it's because of a memory difference or firmware. I flashed my fw to make it have full UEFI support. That fw, as far as I remember wasn't official or modified version of an official fw back in the day. Maybe it's related to fw.
The 650 (Ti) is on the compatible list:What I can suggest any 650 or 650 Ti owner, without telling them "IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE! GO GET A COMPATIBLE ONE!", just try it. What do you lose by trying, right? When I'm told it is not compatible I almost gave up installing hackintosh at all, then I searched a little bit and saw some people have it worked without any issue.
