im not sure if P and S states matter, but im not sure why you have your flags setup like that. id make your boot.plist as simple as possible till your 100% running then add the hidden partitions and whatnot in there.

As I expected, adding PCIRootUID=1 and npci=0x2000 to the Kernel Flags did not helped.

im not so sure using chameleon is the best way to go for you. you have a newer i7 and fermi graphics, you should be using the latest version of chimera. you should probably reformat and start over. well thats my non-professional opinion about it anyway.

Well I really don't get this I have a GTX 570 and a six core processor and I am getting lower scores! I guess its mostly Cinebench, can Cinebench be trusted? Novabench is showing higher results almost double in GPU test. In windows I get like 45fps with my card.

thats very strange. i have no idea. I was thinking its because I have a pretty hefty OC but that doesnt seem to make up for the disparity. here are my CPU and memory configs

this is my card: EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti

I have the thing OCed at 966mhz core, 1854mhz RAM but that's using EVGA precision in Windows on my other HDD but I dont think that carries over. :?: no idea.

Maybe the OC on GPU has something to do with it. I have my processor over clocked but not my graphics card. My CPU is a 2.4 OC to 3.3. Do you have a geek bench score?

Hey guys,

About that verbose boot fix. I manage to get the "right" boot (the one with the logo at the top left). However it stays right there at the boot Spinner screen and it doesn't boot.

If I remove:

<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>

it sort of reads the Graphic Mode null parameter. But it won't boot. :x

To boot I have to use the KernelCache, but it disables my null GraphicMode parameter. :?:

Hopeless.

Hi,
i have problem with Asus GTX580.
i get very low opengl performance on CINEBENCH only 33 FPS and i saw people here with gtx 560 and got 50 FPS+-
why is that?
the steps i did:
1) change ID NVDAGF100Hal.kext to 1080
2)Graphics Mode to nothing
3)edit AGPM.kext
4)open Kext Utility
5)reboot

i have OpenGl and OpenCL enabled :)

just i dont understand why i get such a low performance... :(

Hey Diabolo,

did you also choose the right Smbios to your edits ind AGPM.Kext?

I also have a GTX580 from Asus, an I´m getting around 42FPS in Cinebench, wich is quite o.k., but I know, there is better results with 560ies, but some of them seem to use a 10.7.2 beta version, wich has newer nvidia drivers.
