Hey! Im having same issue, but with that, I got the driver installed. The problem is that the system is running default macOS Graphics drivers as the web driver is not compatible. What can I do?

Unfortunately it doesn't work out for me. when I've patched with the terminal, after the apple logo it restarts immediately. Any suggestions?

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I installed macOS Mojave and quickly realized that there are no NVIDIA drivers out yet, so I downgraded to High Sierra using the App Store download.
Now I realized that the version installed says 17G66 and I'm unable to find any NVIDIA drivers for that version. The script here:https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/nvidia-update-simple-way-to-install-nvidia-web-drivers.244987/ - installs the NVIDIA Web drivers but they don't offer me any hardware acceleration and just allow me to run macOS at 4K.

Now I tried to install the latest High Sierra updates manually, due to the App Store not giving me any but the installers keep telling me I don't offer the requirements to install these.

Does anyone have an idea how I'd be able to get on a macOS version that is supported by the NVIDIA drivers?
Thanks in advance!

Best regards,

Hi, this is for update...

1.- Download and install Security Update 2019-002 (High Sierra)

2. Download and install Nvidia Web Drivers 387.10.10.10.40.124

Type this in a terminal
Code:
bash <(curl -s https://vulgo.github.io/webdriver) 387.10.10.10.40.113

I've installed driver version 387.10.10.10.40.113 on my High Sierra 17G66 and it still doesn't work, however nvidia shows drivers as activated, but still get flash screen and Display 7 MB, i posted more details here https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/high-sierra-10-13-6-build-id-17g66-nvidia-doesnt-work.295760/

Any idea? Geforce GTX 1080 is my graphics card.

Hi all.

There is no point sticking with 17G66 as the Nvidia drivers for this update were generally missed.

Easier is just to update with a High Sierra Security Update and then use the appropriate driver from our Downloads section.

If you have a specific need to stick with 17G66 then swap to a native GPU or use the iGPU instead.

:)
