Hi there.

No need to inject Nvidia - this is not the problem.

It sounds like you just need to install NVRAM emulation.

To do this use either MultiBeast (see the Bootloaders section) or the full Clover installer where you will see the option.

:)

i installed via the multibeast emulated+nvram
On steam its still same

Okay, that's great. NVRAM is usually different to VRAM which is the onboard graphics RAM

It looks as though macOS sees the correct amount of Video RAM - from your screengrab of System Report - but that STEAM doesn't.

Have you checked you are using the latest version of Nvidia Web-Drivers for 10.13.6 ?

Sorry, I can't think of anything else. If macOS sees everything correctly and acceleration works, but STEAM doesn't, then I might think it was a STEAM problem. Have you tried searching for "STEAM VRAM Problem" ? I notice other people have the same error even when using an AMD Radeon GPU too. Here's one.

:)

So i went over to see the problem in linuxi had
Its seems the problem in linux was the permissions set onto steam :(
So i had to change group for the rendering to occour on the gpu
If u find anything plz do tell :(

So i searched around and this is missing on my OS :(
Although mac identifies the gpu no app can use it
