HDMI audio is not enabled and not working, off topic
What app are you using to confirm sound?
IOReg, shows Internal Speakers selected and nothing playing
See Post #1, use iTunes
Try Black/2nd Line Out

Thank you for your answer Toleda.
I actually use iTunes.
No sound from Black/2nd Line out
No sound from earphones
No Sound from Green Jack
No sound from Monitor's internal speakers
No sound from external speakers (2.1)connected to green jack

I actually use iTunes
??, IOReg does not show iTunes running
What is the difference:
1. No Sound from Green Jack?
2. No sound from external speakers (2.1)connected to green jack?
What port are earphones connected?
Monitor speakers will not work with this method, off topic.
Attach new files; one set with green, another set with black.

Sorry, i will upload two more files, i was simply telling you the fact, without evidence

2. No sound from external speakers (2.1)connected to green jack?
No sound from monitor's internal speakers connected to green jack

earphones connected to case's jack

i was simply telling you the tests done

i was simply telling you the fact, without evidence
The evidence says the "fact" is not true.
The only relevant tests are:
1. external speakers (2.1) connected to green jack
2. earphones connected to case's jack (mutes motherboard green)
Attach files for both tests.

  1. I installed Yosemite 10.10.5 back in June 2015 using the recommended list of parts here on this website. Everything worked well except for occasional freezes, but recently a freeze came and it would not boot back up. I keep a clover usb with El Capitan around in case chameleon stops working (it did). I used clover to boot into the OS and everything works great except for the audio. I also cannot boot without that usb, but before I actually install that bootloader (working) onto the SSD, I wanted to ensure the audio starts working (video production). There are no audio output devices listed. I've attempted to plug it into the front panel of my Corsair 500R, as well as into the green port on the (listed below) motherboard.
  2. My build is Yosemite 10.10.5 on a computer held in a Corsair 500R that is running on an Intel i7 4790k with 16GB of Crucial Ballistix Tactical RAM on a Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK motherboard and all graphics are handled by my Gigabyte GTX 960 Windforce 2GB.
    1. MOTHERBOARD: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK
    2. RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical 16GB
    3. PROCESSOR: Intel core i7 4790k
    4. GRAPHICS: Gigabyte GTX 960 Windforce 2GB
    5. CASE: Corsair 500R
    6. OSX VERSION: Yosemite 10.10.5
  3. I attempted this guide yesterday, but was unable to get it to work.
  4. Attached IOReg
  5. Attached /System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
  6. Not found
  7. I went to Console/All Messages. Searched for 'kernel sound' nothing came up. I Probably misunderstood.
  8. audio.jpg attached
  9. possibly irrelevent but It IS installed just (i think) not in use.
  10. Attached EFI/CLOVER/config.plist & Not sure what DPCIManager/misc/BootLog is
  11. Headphones
    1. AKG K240 Mk ii headphones
    2. Front case port
    3. No Output devices

No audio until the system boots from the system disk. Fix boot and post files from successful boot.

Ohh interesting. When clover comes up, I select 'boot Mac OSX from Yosemite' so it is booting from the SSD, it is just the bootloader on the usb. If that is indeed the problem, and the bootloader needs to be installed on the SSD, are there certain steps to install clover over chameleon or do I just install it? I don't want to render my computer useless as I work off of it, and the few guides I've reviewed were all vastly different which is rather confusing considering they should be doing the same thing.

P.S. Thank you very much for your time here to help me (and everyone else)!
