  1. I've got sound working but i get some garbled glitches every three seconds or so and after about a minute after getting progressively worse sounds stops working at all.
  2. 10.11.6 - Gigabyte X99P-SLI - Bios v F23 - Intel 6800k - Graphics Nvidia Gigabyte GeForce GT 710 (954MHz), 1GB DDR3 (1600MHz)
  3. II. Realtek ALC AppleHDA Scripts (i've used a few different methods) and a little lost as to what is working what is not - but here are some outputs that might help troubleshooting -
    File: audio_codecdetect.command_v1.6
    HDMI audio codec(s)
    Onboard audio codec
    Realtek: 0x10ec0900
    OS X/10.11.6 Onboard Audio
    Device: HDEF@1B
    Audio ID: 1
Valid audio codec, audio device and Audio ID; audio injection is working
    Finished -
    File: audio_cloverALC-110.command_v1.0s10
    Release Mode
    EFI partition is mounted
    System Integrity Protection status: disabled.
    OK to patch

Thanks for replying Toleda, sorry I understand your message. I think my cpu is running ok, I have a SSDT for c-states and everything seems to run at proper speeds 3.4mhz, the turbo state is only running at 3.5mhz (ill look into this problem later)

Is there anything else you could point at my direction, much appreciated... More reading etc happy to learn before I come back

Installed native AppleHDA.kext (v274.12) to S/L/E with Kext Utility, now have sound and all audio controls work.

Sound and audio controls worked perfectly for several days, until this morning after I booted up Windows 10. When I booted 10.11.6 again, I heard a few crackles, then nothing.

Read instructions to plug into the black port in the back, and select the second line out. Voila! Sound is back.

Hi toleda..need your help again..

problem: noisy and distorted sound..

1. Installed multibeast (alc1150 & 100 series audio) -> no audio device -> did alc injection -> run audio_cloverALC-120.command.zip -> successful, audio device present.
2. plugged in headphone to front panel, play youtube, got sound but it was like noisy and distorted..
3. i added cpu frequency in clover

please help..thanks
