I cannot hear any sound
OS 10.10.03 / Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD7 TH / BIOS:F4 / i7-4970K

  1. Audio Outputs (System Preferences/Sound/Outputs > SPSOut)
    1. Speakers - Audio IDs: 1, 2 and 3
      1. Connect speakers to Green Port/Motherboard
      2. Select SPSOut/"Internal Speakers"

    1. Speakers - Audio IDs: 1, 2 and 3
      1. Connect speakers to Green Port/Motherboard
      2. Select SPSOut/"Internal Speakers"

I am not sure I understand what I am supposed to do here. Are you saying that the error here was that I did not highlight Internal Speakers in the Sound Preferences / Output, before taking the step No. 3?

the error here was that I did not highlight Internal Speakers in the Sound Preferences / Output, before taking the step No. 3?
Yes, sending audio to an empty port results in no sound every time. The objective is to send audio to the port the speakers are plugged in.

  2. Description of audio problem: My mother board is GA Z87x D3h, ALC892, Have 5 hole on the mother board. no sound when I select internal speaker with green hole. It was working fine when I using unibeast with multbeast. but when i install with clover, not working.
  3. OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics:
    OSX: yosemite
    mother board: GA Z87x D3H BIOS version F9
    processor: i7 4770
    Graphics: GTX 660

    1. Terminal Saved Output (if Terminal script run)

  5. System/Library/Extensions/AppleHDA.kext
  6. Console/All Messages/kernel Sound Assertions - select/Save Selection As:

    1. System Information/Hardware/Audio/Intel High Definition Audio (not Devices)
    2. System Preferences/Sound/Output
  8. Clover (if installed)
    1. EFI/CLOVER/config.plist
    2. EFI/CLOVER/misc/debug.log (Set config.plist/Boot/Debug/YES)
      1. or DPCIManager/Misc/Boot Log
  9. Speakers and/or micrrophine
    1. Make and model: bose desktop speaker
    2. Audio port connected (color, motherboard or case) green
    3. Selection in System Preferences/Sound/Output or Input : internal speaker
